For
the end of the year, a few primary classes get together and go to a free neighbourhood
water park. We need volunteer drivers and invite all family members to come along.
Siblings and grandmas are welcome. It is a wonderful, happy, free day, as we play
and eat together (our regular snacks and lunches along with some teacher treats
like freezies and watermelon - no big fuss.) It is so much fun to get wet and
have a giggle getting the teachers and parents wet.
Other than getting enough
drivers, it is a relatively stress free and memorable day.
We take along a
simple craft of making pinwheels if some students get bored. That way they can
run around spinning their wheels!
Check with other neighbouring schools to
make sure the park won't be too crowded with other school classes that day.
