This
is a wonderful book filled with repetition so even your earliest
readers will truly believe they are reading! After reading this
book, it's time to make your own class book following this same
story format. The children can choose interesting animals or they
may even choose to put themselves in the story. For example, they
may write, "Jessica, Jessica, what do you see?" "I
see Emily looking at me!" and so on. Have them illustrate
their book by using the Eric Carle Art technique or by just drawing
their own pictures. This promises to be a book they will want
to read over and over again!
