Love That Teaching Idea! Staff Do you want to lose the boredom of having your students write their spelling words 5 times each? Well, with this activity, they'll be spelling the words at least 25 times each without ever complaining! Pass out a blank white sheet of paper to each student. Then pass out a copy of a simple picture from your clip art file or a coloring book. Place the blank piece of paper on top of the design and staple once. Now instruct your students to write their words following the black lines that can be seen through the paper. Pretty soon, they will have "drawn" out the picture by simple writing the spelling words multiple, multiple, multiple times! Finally take the stapled pictures apart, and you have a spelling picture to be proud of! |
