Scrunch
up blue paper or cellophane wrap to resemble your lake. Tie a
piece of rope or yarn to the end of a long stick. Hang up beside
the lake. Cut out paper fish with addition facts on them. Then
attach some kind of small bag or net to the board so this bulletin
board becomes an interactive bulletin board. When students have
free time, encourage them to walk over to the board, choose a
fish, answer the problem and then put it in the fisherman's bag.
Pairs of students can go over together and quiz each other.
