Divide
your class into groups of five. Each group can decide what "question"
they want to ask their classmates about. Questions might include
such things as:
- "What is your favorite candy bar?"
- "What is your favorite animal?"
- "What is your favorite subject in school?"
Each member of the group must come up with 1 possible choice to
offer students. When the groups have formulated their question
and 5 possible answers, have them come to the front of the room
to poll the class. The information gathered can be used in a bar,
picture or line graph. Each group can create their graphs on a
large poster to be displayed throughout the room.
