Love That Teaching Idea! Staff I always like to have my timer or stopwatch on hand close by. When I want my students to quickly take out their math books and begin working on an assignment, I may time them to see if they can beat yesterday's time. They love the challenge! We record the times on a small section of our chalkboard. I don't do this for every subject or transition, but for those problem times, it works out really well! I sometimes do this when lining up and cleaning up to go home. There is no reward at the end- only the satisfaction that they got the job done quickly! |
