Download
the basketball hoop card and basketball, the "student instruction
sheet" as well as the "student worksheet". Write
2 guide words, found in a dictionary, at the top of each basketball
hoop card. Write a word that would fit between those 2 guide words
on the basketball itself. Make as many copies of the basketballs
and cards as you have need for. Laminate and place in center.
Cut a slit along the dotted lines above the net. This is where
the "basketball" would fit in.
A
student in this center would lay the basketball hoop cards in
front of him. Looking through the basketballs, he would find a
word that would fit inbetween the 2 guide words at the top. Student
then places the ball into the cut slit.
When
the student feels he has answered all of the cards correctly,
he must then transfer his answers to the corresponding worksheet.
He can then turn this sheet into the teacher for correction, if
needed.
