Cultural Awareness Bulletin Board

Each month our Head Start class learns about a different
culture. I stapled a large world map on our "Cultural
Awareness Board". I have a red ribbon with one end pinned to
where we live and the other end pinned to the place we are
learning about. Then, above the ribbon I place a picture of the
mode of transportation we could use to get there. I also put
other pictures pertaining to the culture on the board, and each
child has the opportunity to make something to put on the
board.
